We chose to use soybean oil infused with chamomile, lavender, and calendula as our base with castor oil. We then add in the activated charcoal and kaolin clay for their detoxifying properties

Apply a small amount to splinters, glass slivers or bumps on the skin. May help draw toxins and impurities so tissue can heal. Aside from having the benefit of drawing things from the skin, this will also give the area a soothing effect. The herbs in this salve have natural analgesic properties as well as the rosemary and tea tree essential oils.

Suggested directions for us: Make sure area has been cleaned well. Put a generous amount of black salve on the wound or splinter and cover with gauze or a large bandaid. Leave at least a few hours or overnight to allow it to draw out the infection or object.
